Heat flux in general quasifree fermionic right mover/left mover systems

چکیده

With the help of time-dependent scattering theory on observable algebra infinitely extended quasifree fermionic chains, we introduce a general class so-called right mover/left mover states which are inspired by nonequilibrium steady for prototypical configuration finite sample coupled to two thermal reservoirs at different temperatures. Under assumption spatial translation invariance, relate 2-point operator such state asymptotic velocity system and prove that is thermodynamically nontrivial in sense its entropy production rate strictly positive. Our study these not necessarily gauge-invariant systems covers substantially generalizes well-known chains opens way more systematic analysis heat flux systems.
